My Story
About Lisa
I am wired for positivity, and born with the gift of intuition. One might think that these two things would allow me the insightful benefit of a balanced life, though it wasn’t long ago that these two parts of myself were actually battling it out on a daily basis. My inner critic was ruling my life, and I found myself ruminating about conversations or situations that had taken place in my day that kept me from sleeping well, or functioning at my fullest. I lived in a perpetually stressful place, and I was exhausted mentally, physically, and emotionally.
I wish I could say that I waved a magic wand and changed my life overnight, though I can say that the changes I made (one at a time) DID allow me the extra breath to make choices in my day that moved the needle toward a more energetic existence where sleep is restful, and stress is minimized. My intuition guided me to look at life through a meaningful positive lens, and I began to trust myself more fully in my work and at home.
I began to look at food more as medicine to fuel my body, implemented relaxation practices like Reiki and meditation that allowed me to slow down and be more mindful as I navigated my day. I found tools to quiet my inner critic, and I practiced more self-kindness in small (and large) ways each day. Whether it meant allowing myself extra time to sleep, taking a few moments to breathe, or reworking my schedule so I wasn’t racing around, it is about making the conscious decisions that open up more opportunities for living the life I want most; to be healthy, happy, peaceful, and deliberate about what I do each day. In short, I choose ME first, so I have the presence and energy for the people and events in my life that I love most.
With my professional training and experience I can help you fast track your journey toward identifying the tools and tips that will help you move from ruminating to restful in the way that makes sense for you.
My Official Bio
As you can probably tell by now, my approach is about sharing easy and effective ways to reduce stress by reclaiming your life and breath through self-care. This won’t require you to spend hours each day meditating (though this is a great thing to do if you have the time). I’ll be sharing tips and tools with you that you can implement in minutes and exercises you can practice without having to purchase a single piece of equipment.
Ask anyone who knows me…I am positive! I’ll help you shift your perspective and stretch beyond negativity to find YOUR comfortable positive place.
When you put self-care first, anything becomes possible for YOU, and everyone in your life benefits too!
